Say it like you'd say it out loud
“Two rotis and a katori of dal” is a valid entry. Type it or speak it — Aham.Fit matches it against the catalog, shows you exactly what it thinks you ate, and waits for you to confirm before anything is saved.
Aham = self. Fit = health.
A calorie tracker that understands a katori of dal as well as it understands a barcode. Scan the packet, photograph the plate, or just say what you ate — check the numbers, confirm, done.
Free. No ads. Barcode, photo and voice logging are all on the free plan.

How it works
Every route into the diary — typing, scanning, the camera, your voice — ends on the same confirm screen. You see the portion and the numbers before they count.
Matches
Type or speak it the way you'd say it out loud. Or scan the packet's barcode, or point the camera at the plate. Household measures count — katori, roti, glass — so you don't have to weigh anything.
Lunch · 2 items
Portion
Aham.Fit shows exactly what it thinks you ate and what it costs you. Fix a portion, swap a match, drop an item. An estimate you corrected beats a number you never looked at.

Insight
Your remaining calories, macros and streak move immediately. Over a few weeks the target itself adjusts to the maintenance level your own logs and weight trend imply.
What it does
Most trackers work fine for the first three days. These are the parts that keep it going on day forty.
“Two rotis and a katori of dal” is a valid entry. Type it or speak it — Aham.Fit matches it against the catalog, shows you exactly what it thinks you ate, and waits for you to confirm before anything is saved.
Point the camera at your meal and get an itemised estimate back. Same rule as everything else: nothing lands in your diary until you've seen the breakdown and said yes.
Barcode lookup covers packaged products through Open Food Facts, so the biscuits and the protein bar take about two seconds each.
A curated catalog of IFCT-style ingredients, Indian household dishes and USDA generics, with Hindi aliases and ranked search. Household measures — katori, roti, glass — not just grams.
Your calorie goal isn't a formula frozen on day one. Aham.Fit compares what you actually logged against your weight trend and works out your real maintenance, then adjusts. Roughly ten days of logs and it starts showing you an observed TDEE.
A logging streak, recents, favourites, custom foods, saved recipes and copy-yesterday — so an ordinary day takes seconds, not minutes.
Entries queue on the device and sync in the background. A lift, a basement restaurant or a train tunnel doesn't cost you the meal.
Water, a micronutrient pane, weight trend, and a daily insight card. Exercise eat-back is off by default, because it's usually a lie.
Aham.Fit Plus
Everything that makes logging fast stays free — barcode, photo, voice, protein in g/kg, and the adaptive calorie target. Plus is a control layer for people who already know what they want their numbers to be.
Every Plus control is yours at no cost in this build — switch it on from You → Aham.Fit Plus and keep it.

This build is signed with a development key, not a Play Store key. Android will ask you to allow installs from your browser, and Play Protect may add a prompt of its own. Check the SHA-256 above against the file you downloaded, and install it because you trust the source. If an update says the app conflicts with an existing install and you are on 2.0.6, uninstall that build once, then install the latest APK (2.0.6 used a mismatched signing key; 2.0.7 was a universal build — use 2.0.8+).
Served from our GitHub releases page, so you can see the build and its checksum at the source: view this release on GitHub.
On Windows PowerShell, from your Downloads folder:
Get-FileHash .\Aham.Fit-2.0.8.apk -Algorithm SHA256
On macOS or Linux:
shasum -a 256 Aham.Fit-2.0.8.apk
The result must match the SHA-256 shown above, character for character.
Questions
Yes. Barcode scanning, photo logging, voice logging, the food catalog, protein targets in g/kg and the adaptive calorie target are all on the free plan. Plus is the paid control layer, and in this build you can switch it on yourself from You → Aham.Fit Plus at no cost.
The app is shipping fast and a store review sits between every change and your phone. Installing the APK from here means you get the current build the day it's built. It also means Android treats it as an unknown source, which is why the checksum is published on this page.
We publish the SHA-256 of the exact file so you can check that what landed on your phone is what we built, and the file is hosted on our public GitHub releases page where you can see it independently. It is signed with a development key rather than a Play Store key — install it because you trust the source, not because Android stopped warning you.
Logging does. Entries are written to an on-device queue and sync in the background when you're connected again. Barcode and photo lookups need a connection, since they hit external data.
A curated kitchen list of Indian dishes and household measures, plus USDA public-domain tables, UK CoFID, and Open Food Facts India packs. You can add a missing food and optionally share it; shared member foods stay unmarked. See the food data methodology.
No. You can log in household measures, and photo and voice entries produce an estimate you adjust on the confirm screen. Weighing is more accurate, but the app is designed to still be useful when you don't.
Android 8.0 and newer, on 64-bit arm hardware — which covers essentially every phone sold in the last several years. Aham.Fit is an Android app today.
Your diary is tied to your account and stored on the Aham.Fit server so it follows you across devices. See the privacy notice for the current detail.
One meal is enough to see whether this fits how you eat.
